Summer is coming to an end and Ogden Soccer Coaches are working hard on completing CDC Concussion Course, Safe Haven-Back Ground Checks, and age level Coach Courses. In addition to the Coaches getting ready our Division Coordinators are forming team rosters, our Purchasing Director is ordering uniforms, Referees are completing training, and over 100 other volunteers are dedicating personal time to getting the season ready to kick off.
Once the heat of summer cools you can expect to see soccer players gathering on local soccer fields here in the greater Ogden area. Although most soccer players have been active hiking, swimming and doing other summer activities at the start of Fall we are all ready to play soccer.
Fall soccer will start on September 10, 2016 - Games will be held on Saturday and will last for 7 weeks. Game times will rotate from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Some coaches start practices a few weeks before the first game.
What do you need to be prepared for a new Soccer season?
1)Soccer Shoes. 2) Shin Guards. 3) Correct Size Soccer ball. 4) Water Bottle.
If you are new you will want to go and get fitted for the proper safety gear. This includes soccer shoes, shin guards, the correct size ball, and a water bottle. If you are returning check your gear and make sure it fits. Do your shoes and shin guards fit? Does you ball have air in it? When your coaches call make sure you are prepared and ready to play safe soccer.

Each season Ogden AYSO Region 351 has players on a waiting list. Soccer registration begins each year in April for the following Fall/Spring season and closes by July 10. We do our best to place everyone onto a team unfortunately it is not always possible to add new players when team rosters are full.
Spring Soccer is the continuation of the Fall Season start. We try to play between 14-16 games per year divided between Fall and Spring. To learn more about what to expect during the Spring see the Article Spring Soccer.
